Ways to Work With Me to Manage Your Weight, Why You Should, and What Makes Me Different

My passion is to help you to overcome yo-yo dieting, with a focus on developing and maintaining a healthy mind as well as a healthy body.
It’s my passion because I have been there, done that, and got the yo-yo dieting t shirt. I wore it for 25 years. But I threw it away 10 years ago as I found a healthier, happier way to live my life, and now, as a qualified life coach, personal trainer and hypnotherapist specialising in healthy weight management, I help others to do the same.

I don’t have set packages to work with me. I work with you to find the best solution for you.
You can mix and match what you want to do, and it can evolve over time according to your needs. There is no one size fits all, just whatever size fits you, so at no point are you making any long-term commitments, unless you choose to.
You can start with a low-cost option and move up, or start with a high cost option and move down, or anything in between. There is no right or wrong way to do it. I have tried to make sure that there is something for every budget.

1:1 Coaching
The most effective work with me is my 1:1 coaching as it is intensive, but of course, it has to be the right time for you to engage with it. You need to be fully ready as we get to work on changing your mindset, your attitudes and your beliefs as well as how you behave with food and drink, and how much exercise you take.
I call it coaching but it’s so much more than that. It’s a mixture of coaching, mentoring, education and using a variety of tools and techniques, including hypnotherapy, with the aim of empowering you to take full control of your eating behaviours in a healthy and constructive way. My approach gives you back the freedom to live your life without the constraints of being on the yo-yo dieting cycle, and achieve a healthier, happier mind and body.
My work is predominantly sitting down with you, either online or face to face, and identifying, exploring, discussing and working through the mindset issues that get in your way, so that you can overcome them. However, I am also a qualified personal trainer and can help with the practical side of what to eat and drink and how to exercise too, so we can bring that in to our work together as required.
I discuss packages with you and we come up with what is the best fit for you within your budget and your life that you can afford.
My approach is really about confronting and changing our mindset for life, it’s not just going on a diet or starting an exercise programme, so it takes time, effort and patience to work through, but gets great results, and I am here to help you work through it. It’s a workout programme for your MIND. Yes of course we have to change what and how you eat, and I can help you to do that, but we also change your attitude, so that it no longer feels like a constant battle.
We start with the assessment, which is £110 for 90 minutes (90 minutes for the price of 60) and at the end of that we agree the most appropriate next steps for you.
You will still leave the assessment with some tips, advice and some more clarity around your goals regardless of whether you sign up to anything further or not.
After the assessment I normally recommend starting with a package of 4x 1-hour sessions and these are payable in advance and can be spread out over 1-4 months. Signing up in advance for 4 sessions makes it cheaper – they then work out at £99.75 per 1 hour session instead of £110 per 1 hour session.
We agree at the beginning how low long you have to use them. If you decide to have them weekly then you will also get my accountability support through the YourOneLife Accountability Club membership at Silver level included as standard (see the Accountability Club page below for the standalone prices for these)
If you spread them out over a longer period up to 4 months, then you would have to pay for this additional element separately if you wanted them to consolidate your coaching.

For best results, I recommend weekly sessions to begin with as we maintain momentum and get you working intensively on the issues, along with lots of support in between the sessions, but if that’s not in your budget then even every 2-4 weeks will still be of great benefit, especially if you sign up to the Accountability Club membership as well.
We will start to go through the YourOneLife Framework for Success, addressing each element in turn, at your pace, whilst also implementing practical changes, and you can book further sessions or packages as needed. We will review your needs regularly.

Alternatively, you can just purchase single sessions at £110 per hour, as and when you need them, and supplement them if you wish with the group and 1:1 accountability options as described in the sections below.
Coaching can go on for as long as needed, but my mission is to help people become self-sufficient eventually. Some people do this after a few weeks, some after a few months, and some just prefer to keep on with some coaching as part of their accountability.
Even just a few sessions of coaching could make a big difference for you.
My face to face work is in Hawkinge, between Dover and Folkestone in Kent, UK, but you can work with me online wherever you are.
Can you afford it?
In terms of affordability, I would encourage you to think about when it comes to food and drink what you currently spend your money on, and see if there are some savings you could make… as the costs of these things add up just as easily as the extra calories, without always being fully aware, so it may be more affordable than you think, and if you are determined to change your behaviour it will definitely be worth it.
The cost of NOT changing can often be much greater in the long term.
Weight management in today’s world is REALLY hard so there is nothing wrong with getting help.
Think of it in the same way as as if you had to call in an expert to help you solve any other problem.
Think of it as an investment in yourself and your future… how long have you been repeating the same patterns of behaviour but expecting different results? Taking a different approach will help you to change the pattern, so that you DO get different results.
Preparing for Successful Weight Loss 1:1 Programme
Another option is to go through my Preparing for Successful Weight Loss Programme which is 8 sessions of 90 minutes each, spread over 8 weeks, where we go through my Framework for Success step by step in a more structured way. www.youronelife.co.uk/programmes
I do run a group version of this from time to time so you can add your name to the waiting list.
If you want to get started straight away and have the budget to support it, then you can do the 1:1 version. This is tailor-made for you as I will support you to do all the assignments and we will spend the most time on the issues that are most relevant for you.
Hypnotherapy
If you sign up to a coaching package I would use hypnotherapy within your package as and when appropriate, but if you didn’t want the coaching we can do some hypnotherapy sessions as a standalone service where we can work on addressing your eating behaviours, or help you to be more active. This is great if you simply need some help with changing unhelpful habits, and are not ready to work on, or don’t have, other issues relating to your eating, weight, or self-esteem.
This is not going to be as effective on its own without the coaching but can still be very effective until you are ready for, or need, something more intensive.
I also offer hypnotherapy for other issues such as smoking or vaping, confidence, sleep, or performance nerves such as public speaking or before a sporting event.

Monthly Accountability Club Membership Subscription – prices start at £29 per month (that’s less than £1 per day!

This is for people who want affordable group support – we work together on developing the right mindset as well as making practical changes.
People can start with the Accountability Club and move in to 1:1 coaching, or stay with this option, or they can move into this after having completed some 1:1 coaching sessions.
There is personalised support from me on a daily* or a weekly basis and the ’gold’ option includes 30 minutes 1:1 video or phone chat per month. Again this option works well alongside 1:1 coaching.
