I have undergone training in nutrition coaching, financial coaching, life coaching, counselling skills, personal training and gym instruction, to make sure I can give you the very best service that I possibly can, so that you get the best results that you possibly can. My learning is continuing as I complete the rest of my Psychology Degree and undertake other continuing professional development courses to make sure I keep myself up to date.

In addition to this I have over 20 years of management experience and working with people on a one-to-one basis. I have also worked with people with mental health issues and addictions. I have a huge amount of knowledge and experience in healthy eating, physical activity, setting and achieving my own goals and helping others set and achieve theirs. I am also divorced and (happily) remarried, and a parent of two grown up children, (although I spent several years as a single parent when they were young) and have experienced:

  • Overweight-related health issues

  • Yo-yo dieting

  • Smoking and not feeling able to stop

  • Low self esteem

So I understand at least some of the struggles that we go through, and how they can make us take our eyes off the ball when it comes to looking after ourselves and our weight. I have learned how to overcome these struggles without damaging my health in the process, and have actually improved and maintained my physical and mental health greatly over the last 12 years. I am in control of my life instead of it being in control of me.

I am far from perfect but I am happy, better able to cope with life’s ups and downs, and try to make the most of my life and the opportunities that come my way!!

Claire Jones is an innovative, award-winning Weight Management Expert and a Successful Weight Loss Author, having been able to maintain a healthy weight for over a decade after overcoming 25 years of yo-yo dieting.

Using her unique framework, she exercises people’s minds for weight loss, with a focus particularly on long term serial and ‘yo-yo’ dieters, helping them to reach and maintain a healthy weight through developing a better relationship with food and with themselves.

In addition to her personal experience, Claire has decades of professional experience in the field of healthcare management and working with people to solve problems. After overcoming it once and for all she turned her passion and experience to helping others to overcome their battles too. She left her 20 year NHS career, retrained in the areas of life coaching, nutrition, personal training, hypnotherapy and NLP techniques in order to provide a holistic and tailored service to her clients. Her mission is to help as many people as possible to recognise and harness the power that they have within themselves to manage their weight well for life, being healthy in both mind and body, whilst navigating today’s high-calorie society.
