How to Lose Weight in the New Year

When it comes to losing weight, it is vital to recognise that shedding that excess fat is as much about your mindset as it is about what you eat. You might feel as though you really want to lose weight, but you won’t be able to maintain the momentum to do what it takes without the right tools on your side.
Equally, you can’t start any kind of weight loss programme without being fully prepared. That doesn’t mean that you need to make up all your meals for the week every Sunday (although this can certainly be useful). Instead, you need to train your brain into guiding you along the rocky journey to being the size you dream of.

Like everything, our food cravings and habits are all in our heads. As humans, our bodies developed the ability to store fat in order to survive long periods without food. But in our fast-moving western society, we rarely have to go without food for more than a few hours. That excess fat is unnecessary and dangerous to our health. Our lifestyles may have evolved, but our relationships with food haven’t. I will help you to change this, so that you have a more meaningful connection with your fridge and cupboards.
It is time to take back control over your weight, diet and training routine. Once you have reset your mind, you can do amazing things! We all need a little help sometimes. Make sure your New Year’s resolution weight loss doesn’t go the same way as previous years.
