The YourOneLife Monthly 21 Day Challenges

With Award-Winning Weight Loss Coach Claire Jones

I’ve noticed something over and over… in myself, and in the clients I coach.

When we start the day with a firm, clear intention… something we’ve actually said out loud or written down… we are so much more likely to follow through.

Not a vague “I’ll try to be good today.”
But something real, like:

  • Today I’m going to eat three proper meals. No grazing. No skipping.
  • Today I’m walking straight after work, even if it’s just round the block.
  • Today I’m drinking water before I touch coffee.

That’s where change begins – in the shift from vague and woolly to clear and committed.

If you joined in with Move YOUR Way Through May, Just Get it Done June, and Joyful July, you’ll already know how powerful the YourOneLife 21 day challenges can be.

They weren’t about doing it perfectly.

They were about tuning in, doing it your way, and noticing what really helped.

Here’s what participants had to say:

“This challenge has reminded me that less formal movement can be just as satisfying.”

“I’m planning where to walk the next day, and actually following through with it.”

“I’m addicted to my evening walks now.”

“My mindset used to be all about the step count. Now I’m seeing how other types of movement help prevent aches and pains.”

“It’s helped me prioritise movement even on my busiest days.”

“This month has made me value my health, and that’s a big motivation to lose weight.”

That’s what these monthly challenges are really about.

Not rules. Not rigidity.

But commitment, reflection, and the confidence that builds from doing the thing you said you would.

So what if this coming month was the month you stopped overthinking and started following through, one small, powerful action at a time?

No pressure.
No plan to “stick to”.
Just one daily decision that supports your weight loss goals, brings you joy, and helps you rebuild trust in yourself.

That’s what we do in the 21 Day Challenges over in the YourOneLife Weight Loss Accountability Club.
And I’d love you to be part of them.

Please note the December Challenge (Fitmas Bingo) is 14 days instead of 21, and the January Challenge (January Re-Set) is 31 days.

Here’s how it works:

Starting on the first of each month*, I post a short morning prompt each day in the Accountability Club Facebook Group (at 5am so it’s there when you get up).

You’ll check in by sharing your intention for the day under the day’s post, according to the theme of the month, and also what you did the day before.

At the end of the month, everyone who participates daily goes into a mystery prize draw, with a tailored gift just for the winner.

This is not a plan to follow.
It’s a practice in showing up for yourself with one aligned decision each day.

What kind of actions count?
The ones you already know will help, but haven’t been doing consistently.

It could be:

  • Noticing how good it felt to be hydrated because you drank enough water
  • Enjoying a meal out because you had tracked and planned it and were able to eat what you wanted
  • Taking a proper lunch break
  • Feeling proud about going to bed on time before the late night snack spiral
  • Saying no to second helpings you don’t actually want, and feeling good that you enjoyed your meal and stopped when you had enough
  • Moving your body and noticing how it lifted your mood
  • Enjoying the taste of fresh fruit and veg

These are just some examples.

You can do the same thing every day, or something different depending on what you need.

What matters is that you choose something that actually moves the needle – then commit to doing it. At your next update you can also share how it went yesterday …whether you followed through, what helped, what got in the way, and what you learned.

You can check in at any time of day but best in the morning before your day gets into full swing. Or you could post in the evening to set your intention for the following day.

It’s about repeating your commitments to yourself, and reminding you of what’s important.

To participate, all you need to do is comment on the post and share your intention for the day. Do that every day and you go into the prize draw for the mystery prize.

What support you get

This is about showing up for yourself, and I’ll be right there with you. I’ll be

  • Keeping track of who’s posting
  • Updating our participation board regularly (not a leaderboard  – this is about self-leadership, not competition)
  • Giving gentle nudges if you go quiet, so you stay connected

And everyone who checks in every day under the day’s post will be entered into the mystery prize draw at the end of the challenge.

The prize is always tailored to the winner, something thoughtful and supportive, chosen just for you, so even I don’t know what it is.

You’ll get:

  • Daily guidance
  • A clear focus each day
  • Encouragement from a supportive group
  • A growing sense of self-trust

You’ll also get the other benefits of being in the Accountability Club at Foundation level, like community support and friendship, a monthly group Zoom call (most months). Let this coming month be the month you practice following through for yourself… gently, consistently, your way, and have fun doing it.

Then keep an eye on your inbox for the link to join.

See you there!
